There are no offical wine trails in Arkansas however you can find great Arkansas wineries in Arkansas Wine Country. Arkansas Wine Country is near the towns of Paris, Ozark and Altus just off Interstate 40, northwest of Little Rock and east of Ft. Smith. Close to where the Arkansas River winds between the Ozark Mountains and the Ouachita Mountains. If you travel the highways there you can visit the hanful of wineries in that region. Even if you choose not to stop at any of the area wineries, this area of Arkansas offers travelers majestic landscape to see. Travel down highways and country roads and into quiet and lush vineyards and countryside. As you pass by cities like Crossett, Pine Bluff, El Dorado and Little Rock, there may even be some great Arkansas wine bars designated along the way for you to stop into and enjoy a quick lunch or dinner with a smooth glass of red or white wine.
