Colorado American Viticultural Areas for Wine Tasting

Currently Colorado has 2 official American Viticultural Area. These wine regions are a great place to start when you're looking to visit Colorado wineries for wine tasting and winery tours.

Grand Valley
Designated AVA on 7/01/2004 and located in eastern Colorado along the Colorado River between Palisade and just west of Grand Junction.

West Elks
Designated AVA on 7/01/2004 and located in eastern Colorado and runs along the Gunnison River between Hotchkiss and Paonia.
