There are more than a dozen wineries and vineyards in Floride but not official wine regions and wine trails in Florida are equally scarce. But even without official or designated wine trails, you can travel along Florida highways and find great Florida wineries. Whichever road you follow, you're sure to find an excellent variety of Florida wines to taste. Even if you choose not to stop at any of the area wineries, the byways and highways that connect them are great ways to see the majestic landscape of Florida wine country. Venture down highways and country roads and into quiet and lush vineyards and countryside. As you pass by cities like Key West, Miami, St. Augustine and Jacksonville, there may even be some great Florida wine bars designated along the way for you to stop into and enjoy a quick lunch or dinner with a smooth glass of red or white wine. And for those of you considering a Florida winery wedding drive open roads until you find the winery that seems like the perfect spot, with just the right views.
