Idaho American Viticultural Areas for Wine Tasting

Currently Idaho has one official American Viticultural Area and one unofficial region. These wine regions are a great place to start when you're looking to visit Idaho wineries for wine tasting and winery tours.

Snake River Valley
Designated AVA on April 2007 and located in the southern portion of the state from Pocatello to Boise and into Oregon.

Northern Idaho & Panhandle Region
Unofficial region.
