Massachusetts American Viticultural Areas for Wine Tasting
Currently Massachusetts has two official American Viticultural
Area. These wine regions are a great place to start when you're
looking to visit Massachusetts
wineries for wine tasting and winery tours.
Southeastern New England
Designated AVA in 1984 and located in Massachusetts, Rhode
Island, and Connecticut's coastal regions.
Martha's Vineyard
Designated AVA in 1985 and located in Dukes County, which
includes all of the land on the islands named Martha's Vineyard
and Chappaquiddick Island.
