New Jersey American Viticultural Areas for Wine Tasting

New Jersey Wine Regions

Currently New Jersey has three official American Viticultural Area. These wine regions are a great place to start when you're looking to visit New Jersey wineries for wine tasting and winery tours.

Central Delaware Valley AVA
Designated AVA in 1984 and located in Central New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania along the Delaware River just north of Philadelphia.

Outer Coastal Plain AVA
Designated AVA in 2007 and located in Southeastern New Jersey and includes all of Cumberland, Cape May, Atlantic, and Ocean counties.

Warren Hills AVA
Designated AVA in 1988 and located in Warren County in Northwestern of New Jersey.
