Rhode Island American Viticultural Areas for Wine Tasting

Currently Rhode Island has one official American Viticultural Area. These wine regions are a great place to start when you're looking to visit Rhode Island wineries for wine tasting and winery tours.

Southeastern New England AVA
Designated AVA on 7/01/1984 and located in portions of Bristol, Newport, Providence, and Washington counties in Rhode Island including the coastal islands and coastal plains within 15 miles of Long Island Sound.
