Wisconsin American Viticultural Areas for Wine Tasting

Currently Wisconsin is home to two official American Viticultural Area. These wine regions are a great place to start when you're looking to visit Wisconsin wineries for wine tasting and winery tours.

Lake Wisconsin AVA
Designated AVA in 1994 and located in south central Wisconsin

Upper Mississippi River Valley AVA
Designated AVA on 6/22/2009 and located in southwestern Wisconsin, and parts of Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois.
